Shift Dress

This dress was made from lovely thick cotton fabric, it was such a joy to work with. One thing I learnt how to sew sleeves while making this dress, they are not as easy as one my expect!

Sewing Month!

This month is all about sewing! I am going to devote this month to developing my sewing skills, using a machine and hand sewing I will be attempting a whole bunch of projects that will further my knowledge. My first endeavor is this:

I learnt many skills during the making of this dress, I found it particularly tricky to achieve the concave seam at the front, however after hours of trying I managed to get the seam just right, I am know a master at the concave seam!
