Loch Ness Monster Sock Puppet

I am now attending the RCS prodcution juniors and this was the homework for this week. Puppet making Homework, now that's my kind of homework!

My sister had some wellie socks that were too small for her, these were absolutely perfect for the idea I had in mind so I grabbed them!

I then cut a mouth hole in the heel. I turned the puppet inside out and stuck my mouth plate in with hot glue. (there is red felt on the other side of the mouthplate which you can't see)

I then rolled up the end of the sock which gave me the nose of the puppet, yay! This I also hot glued.
I made a stuffing pillow and hot glued this to the inside of the puppet head, this gave the head some shape.I then made brows for the felt eyes to b glued to. I also made a tartan hat (fabric sourced from a picnic mat, shhhh, don't tell anyone!)

And bam! We now have a loch ness monster sock puppet!
